23appropriation funds it recovers under ss. 46.495 (2) (b) and 51.423 (15), from prior
24year audit adjustments including those resulting from audits of services under s.
2546.26, 1993 stats., or s. 46.27. Except for amounts authorized to be carried forward

1under s. 46.45, all funds recovered under ss. 46.495 (2) (b) and 51.423 (15) and all
2funds allocated under s. 46.40 and not spent or encumbered by December 31 of each
3year shall lapse to the general fund on the succeeding January 1 unless carried
4forward to the next calendar year by the joint committee on finance.
SB40, s. 412 5Section 412. 20.435 (7) (bc) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB40,385,216 20.435 (7) (bc) Grants for community programs. The amounts in the schedule
7for grants for community programs under s. 46.48. Notwithstanding ss. 20.001 (3)
8(a) and 20.002 (1), the department may transfer funds between fiscal years under

10of health and family services may credit or deposit into this appropriation funds for

17next calendar year by the joint committee on finance. Notwithstanding ss. 20.001
18(3) (a) and 20.002 (1), the department shall transfer from this appropriation account
19to the appropriation account for the department of workforce development children

under s. 20.445 (3) 20.437 (2) (dz) funds allocated by the department
21under s. 46.48 (30) but unexpended on June 30 of each year.
SB40, s. 413 22Section 413. 20.435 (7) (bd) of the statutes is amended to read:

24Long-term care programs. The amounts in the schedule for assessments, case
25planning, services, administration and risk reserve escrow accounts under s. 46.27,
